Board Member Legal, PR/Marketing Experience
Williamstown Community Childcare Centre CLG is a registered charity incorporated on 5 September 2002. The charity was originally set up to support the families from Farran Park and St. Catherine’s Grange estates in Waterford City. The service was extended to the wider community in general with priority remaining with those from the original two estates. The mission of the service is to provide quality affordable childcare in a safe and friendly environment. This is achievable through government subsidies, funding and grants. We currently employ 20 staff.
Williamstown Community Childcare Centre CLG is seeking to recruit new Board members with a range of experience, but particularly in the area of legal, PR/Marketing to provide oversight to the management team.
We are in need of experienced professionals from the community with skills that can contribute to our organisation and ensure continuity of the childcare service. Over the last few years, we have restructured and have a vertically developed, strong management team with a clear focus on strategic operational growth, good governance, and accountability.
The Board roles are voluntary and the commitment is to attend Board meetings six times per year and offer strategic oversight to the management team.
