We provide comprehensive facilities, support, and professional development opportunities for contemporary visual artists, fostering artistic excellence and community impact. Our Board of Directors is composed of dedicated professionals who guide the strategic vision, governance, and financial sustainability of the organisation.

The Role

We are inviting a qualified finance professional to join our Board starting in January 2027. This essential position plays a key role in supporting the Studio's long-term sustainability, guiding strategic budget management, and upholding strong financial governance. You will collaborate with a diverse group of directors whose expertise spans legal, education, EDI, fundraising, development, and the arts.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend bi-monthly Board meetings and an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June.
• Oversee the annual audit process (March – June).
• Oversee monthly finances, management accounts, budgets, and financial controls.
• Provide expertise and advice on financial matters, including grant applications.

Qualifications & Person Specification

• Qualified accountant or equivalent financial experience.
• Experience or interest in charity governance, non-profit financial management is desirable.
• Interest in the arts sector is essential
