Board Member

Casadh is seeking committed Ordinary Members to strengthen its Board of Directors / Management Committee. These are voluntary governance roles ideal for professionals who want to contribute strategic oversight and general expertise.

Ideal Candidate Profile (Ordinary Members)

• Professionals from any sector (e.g., business, finance, HR, education, law, community development, marketing, IT, or public sector) with transferable skills.
• Strong interest in addiction recovery, social inclusion, community welfare, or adult education.
• Experience in one or more of the following is especially valuable:
  • Governance, strategy, or board-level decision-making.
  • Finance, budgeting, or fundraising.
  • HR, people management, or employment programmes (e.g., CE schemes).
  • Partnerships, funding, or stakeholder engagement (HSE, government agencies, Task Forces).
  • Monitoring & evaluation, quality assurance, or risk management.
  • Lived experience or strong understanding of recovery, social justice, or Dublin’s inner-city challenges (welcomed but not essential).
