Board Member

Domestic Violence Response (DVR) Galway is a feminist community development organisation responding to the needs of women across Galway City and County. We provide a range of trauma informed services, including telephone support, counselling support, information services, advocacy and accompaniment, and educational and support programmes based on empowerment principles.

We are currently seeking new Board Members to serve as Directors and help guide the strategic direction and governance of the organisation.

Previous experience of board governance and functioning is desirable. Board meetings are held monthly and are offered in a hybrid format. Board members may also have the opportunity to participate in Finance and Staff Subcommittees.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a well-established organisation committed to supporting women and promoting equality. Board members play a key role in ensuring effective governance, oversight, and accountability.
