Board Director
Location: Limerick (with remote attendance options)
Time commitment: Approximately 12 meetings per year (evenings)
Bergerie Trust CLG is a long-established Limerick charity providing sheltered housing and day centre services for older and vulnerable people in our community. For over 30 years, we have been committed to promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing by offering safe housing, social connection, and essential supports.
We are currently seeking new volunteer Directors to join our Board and support the continued development and good governance of the organisation.
About the Role
As a Board Director, you will:
- Help guide the strategic direction of the organisation
- Oversee governance, compliance, and financial sustainability
- Contribute your insights and skills at board meetings
- Support the mission of addressing vulnerability, isolation, and housing needs among older people
Who We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience or interest in:
- Legal
- Finance / Accounting
- Fundraising / Development
Previous board experience is not required – we welcome applicants who are motivated, community-minded, and willing to learn.
