About the Organisation:
Nutgrove Community Enterprise Centre CLG, trading as Nutgrove Enterprise Park operates on a non-profit basis with charitable status and no share capital. It was established in 2001 and further extended in 2004. The 13,800 square feet building houses 24 office units together with food and light industrial units. Meeting rooms and training facilities are also available to tenants and the local business community alike with newly expanded hot desk spaces available as a remote working solution.
Our favourable location and 24/7 access mean these business units are much sought after by start-up and micro enterprises and we maintain 100% occupancy rate. 21 resident businesses currently employ approximately 150 in total, one third of which are based in Rathfarnham with the remainder in field-based roles across Dublin and surrounding counties. Approximately 50% of the occupant companies are early stage and 50% established businesses. The primary contribution to the community in which we operate is the creation of sustainable employment opportunities and a place to work within our community.
Business advice and mentoring is available to tenants via the Centre Manager and a close working relationship is maintained with the Local Enterprise Office in Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown on whose behalf we manage various projects and act as a signpost to their supports.
Operating successfully for over 18 years, with a solid track record in enterprise development, consistent high level of occupancy and building up of financial reserves, the company is in a strong financial position and is now considering further expansion of the centre. Land on which to expand is available on site and recent completed feasibility study indicates significant demand from large client base in the immediate vicinity. The company continues to progress on site development plans (Spring 2022) for an extension of between 1490 and 2000 sqm at a cost of approx. €10M.
