Louth CCC main objective is to support and promote the development and delivery of accessible and affordable quality childcare and family friendly services, which meet the overall development needs of children and supports parents in our County. It's work is directed by the Department of Children, Disability and Equality (DCDE) within a Statement of Work issued each year. Louth County Childcare Committee endeavours to; Assist parents / Guardians in applying for grant assistance under the National Childcare Investment Programme, finding a childcare place for their Child/ren and understanding their entitlements under ECCE programme (known as free preschool). Louth CCC Offer advice on setting up a childcare business and TUSLA Regulatory requirements. Additionally, Louth CCC offer information sessions; training and intensive advice and support to existing Early Learning and Care (ELC) services, School Age Care (SAC) services and Childminders to complete their reporting requirements under the Government childcare funding schemes. The Board aim to meet approximately 6 times per year.
