St. Margaret's IRL-IASD CLG is a rights-based service, supporting people who have a disability to live socially valued and inclusive lives in their community.
As a specialist and leader in supported self-directed living, St. Margaret’s provides flexible responsive services, grounded in partnership, rights, inclusion and accountability, to meet the changing choice and needs of individuals through their life.
We work with and support people transitioning from congregated residential centres/services, adults moving from shared family arrangements, young people transitioning to adult services and individuals transferring from other service arrangements. St. Margaret’s work includes advocating on behalf of individuals to support them to identify and access services and supports.
As a not-for-profit limited company St. Margaret’s is funded by the HSE and works with other voluntary and statutory agencies, local authorities and approved housing bodies, supporting peoples’ rights and choice to access services, supports and housing in their community. As a registered charity, St. Margaret’s is governed by a Board of Directors which assures good corporate governance in all aspect of its business and service outcomes.
