Ballyfermot Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force CLG

Ballyfermot LDATF is one of 12 LDATF in Dublin. We are a locally based multi-agency/multi-disciplinary group who support the funding of a range of services across the region as well as provide for training and have systems for addressing emerging needs within the community. We support the community by responding to drug and alcohol treatment and rehabilitation needs, we review drug trends in the community and respond appropriately. We communicate to the community through media and public events to promote activities and inform people of what we are doing and engage in a number of other local and national multi-agency groups and committees. We consider gaps in services, we explore means of addressing those gaps, and are responsible for ensuring that local activities are in line with national policy.
