Trinity Youth Services is established in 1991 in order to address the lack of facilities for youth people in Holy Trinity Parish Donaghmede. The club has developed and grown with the community over the past 28 years.
We are a based in north Dublin and employ two fulltime paid youth workers, with the rest of the staff being made up of voluntary leaders.
We are currently seeking new board members to join our board with expertise in any of the areas of Health & Safety/HR/Legal or Corporate Governance
We are in the process of registering as a charity and need people who would have an interest/experience in this area to help the board prepare the requirements to obtain charity status.
Assist the board with advise on our current policies and if necessary, help to develop a new ones.
An interest or understanding of youth work would be an advantage but not essential.
Please note that as a member of the Board you will gain valuable personal and professional experience and you will contribute to the ongoing development of the Trinity Youth Services.
Please also note that Garda Vetting will be required for this role.
Terms of appointment
- there are 10 board meetings a year of which 8 must be attended – Min of 1 Year commitment required.
- this is a voluntary position so no payment will be received
