Dublin Youth Dance Company (DYDC) seeks new board members, interested in the performing arts and passionate about young people’s engagement in contemporary dance.   We are particularly interested to hear from individuals with a skill set in the following areas:

Finance/audit/accounting; fundraising/philanthropy; youth arts; national/international festival producing

We are looking for individuals who share our mission of raising the profile of youth dance through supporting talented emerging dancers and choreographers through participation in training, mentoring, creating, commissioning and performing dance to the highest level of expertise, at local and national levels in Ireland and internationally.

GOVERNANCE SUMMARY

The Board of Dublin Youth Dance Company has an oversight function and a strategic development focus.  Board Members of DYDC serve a 4-year term.   DYDC is a registered charity, and this is a voluntary, unpaid position.  The Board of Directors meets four times per year plus the AGM. Working groups are convened as and when required and Board members are expected to contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation and attend company events where possible.  Find out more about who we are and our governance.
