Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of survivors of institutional abuse? Do you have the skills and dedication to help us expand and enhance our services? The Christine Buckley Centre for Education and Support CLG is seeking motivated and committed individuals to join our board.

About Us

Located in Dundrum, Co Dublin, the Christine Buckley Centre provides a welcoming, dignified, and supportive environment where Survivors can heal and rebuild their lives. Our services include education, personal development, holistic practices, and creative activities in a community setting. Peer support is integral to our mission, and we have been a beacon of hope for Survivors for over 20 years.

General Duties of Board Members:

- Comply with the charity’s governing document.

- Ensure the charity fulfils its charitable purpose for the public benefit.

- Act in the best interest of the charity.

- Act with reasonable care and skill.

- Manage the assets of the charity.

Desirable Skills 

- A deep appreciation and knowledge of the not-for-profit sector.

- An understanding of and commitment to our mission and values.

- Recent and relevant experience in charity governance, fundraising, and PR activities.

Board Meetings

The board meets 10 times a year either in person and via Teams  conveniently located next to the Luas Line.
