Trustee with skills in Marketing and/ or Fundraising

The Organisation:

Our approach is simple and effective.  Since 2002 we have been raising funds for and making grants to local Ethiopian partners to achieve lasting change and improve the lives of the country’s poorest and most vulnerable communities, with an emphasis on maternal health and girls' education. We are a registered charity and we aim to break the cycle of poverty by enabling communities to build resilience and achieve real and sustainable solutions to the challenges they face. Our local partners deliver programmes that support women through improved maternal health; provide menstruation packs for school girls; provide safe shelter for survivors of gender based violence and prevent harmful practices such as FGM; support people living with disabilities; enable access to education for impoverished children; and deliver emergency relief during times of crises.
