Trustee with Financial Governance and Charity Law Expertise

SiSi is seeking to appoint a Trustee with strong financial governance and charity law expertise to strengthen our Board and support our continued growth. 

As a trustee, you will serve as a director of the organisation under Irish Company Law, sharing collective responsibility for:

Strategic Oversight and Governance, Ensure compliance with the Charities Act 2009 and guidance from the Charities Regulator, Financial Stewardship and Risk Management, Oversight of annual accounts and reporting obligations. 

We are particularly seeking candidates with: Professional background in finance, audit, or financial regulation, Strong understanding of Charity Governance Frameworks in Ireland. Familiarity with the Charities Governance Code. Experience with financial reporting standards. Knowledge of directors duties under Irish company law and Risk management and internal control expertise.
