Role Summary
As a trustee with financial expertise, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial sustainability and compliance of Rape Crisis Midwest. This includes offering strategic financial guidance, monitoring budgets, ensuring robust financial governance, and helping steer the organization’s direction in line with its mission to support survivors of sexual violence.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Professional qualifications in accountancy, finance, or a related field (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Experience in financial governance, budgeting, and risk management.
- Familiarity with charity finance regulations and reporting requirements (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to analyze financial reports and provide strategic recommendations.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by charities and/or a passion for supporting survivors of sexual violence.
