We in the AACPI are seeking a suitably experienced individual to join our Board of Trustees.
The AACPI and our members are registered charities operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing vital counselling & psychotherapeutic supports to marginalised communities across Ireland.
AACPI is a strategic partner of Tusla, and the majority of our members receive varying levels of funding from Tusla for their work. Indeed, our members rely on multiple funding streams from local and national funding agencies in order to deliver their services.
With this in-mind, we are seeking an individual with experience with regards to funding; working with funding agencies and statutory groups (local and national); experience working on or for statutory Boards, or considerable experience winning (or supporting in the application of) large-scale funding for charitable organisations / non-profit organisations.
Our board meets on a monthly basis (excluding August and January). Currently we meet via zoom but it's hoped we will return to in-person meetings in Dublin in the near future. Dublin meetings would happen four times per year (including our AGM in May) and expenses are covered (as per our travel & subsistence policy)
We are reaching out to applicants on a weekly basis and we will set-up initial meetings with our National Coordinator & a member of our board throughout the month of October.
If you think you can deliver on this role and you would like to see an Ireland where counselling & psychotherapy is accessible to all, then please get in touch.
