The Bridge Project is a community based organisation that works with adults with a history of criminal offending to achieve positive change, reduce reoffending and support them to reintegrate into the community and rebuild family ties. Our goal is to contribute to safer communities and enable individuals to develop their full potential.
Our Board includes representatives of key stakeholder agencies as well as individuals with a range of relevant experience and expertise. The Bridge Project has an established Social Enterprise (Clean Slate) that provides a range of property, cleaning and maintenance services in the Dublin area. Clean Slate provides training and employment opportunities to people with a history of criminal offending.
We are seeking a Trustee with the skills and experience to drive the growth of Clean Slate. Experience of procurement would also be an advantage. The Trustee will liaise with the Clean Slate team, the Manager of the Bridge Project and other relevant agencies and report to the wider Board. The Trustee will also attend and contribute to the overall governance of the Bridge Project. Board meetings are held bi-monthly, and are a mixture of in-person and remote meetings.
