Our Irish Board currently consists of trustees who have been involved for many years supporting children and young adults with complex intellectual disability and healthcare needs. We are very passionate about their wellbeing and care/support structures. We have diverse backgrounds in investments, business, Healthcare, marketing and management.
As part of the strengthening of all charity boards the current ORM board would welcome a dynamic professional located in Ireland looking to develop their skills in an international NFP environment. We welcome someone who will use their knowledge and experience to bring energy, ideas and ongoing support to the charity.
A background in any of the following professional areas: legal, financial, markteting, business, fundraising, compliance, medical & management would be of major benefit to the board. If this sounds like something you would enjoy being a part of please get in touch today.
Serving on the Outreach Moldova's (ORM) Board of Directors is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about strengthening leadership and governance in the not for profit sector.
We are looking for someone to actively support our CEO to develop our organisation.
Board members are expected to:
- have the financial acumen to read and understand ORMs financial statements and to otherwise help the board fulfil its fiduciary responsibilities.
- attend a minimum of four board meetings per year. They are expected to read board materials in advance of board meetings and to come prepared to ask questions and participate in discussions.
- play an active role in securing the financial resources necessary for ORM to achieve its mission.
- responsibly represent ORM and to advocate for ORM's mission, programmes, and services as appropriate.
