The Rialto Community Drug Team is in the middle of a dynamic strategic planning process. We have a great dedicated and functioning management committee which meets monthly. We have just produced a communications plan which offers details of opportunities, insights and issues arising. It also details 6 key communications objectives, our target audiences and lists 11 key recommendations.
The Communications person's role is to;
1. Work alongside the other management committee members to achieve the aims of the organisation
2. Using the developed communications plan as a road-map, to support, guide and advise the RCDT management committee on it's best implementation including setting targets and time-frames for actions.
3. Liaise with the Manager in an advisory/mentoring role in the preparation of the agreed actions.
4. Liaise with the management committee and manager on sourcing funding where necessary to support communication actions.
