Taysey Leadership Network (TLN) is an Ireland-registered, mission-led organisation committed to empowering minoritised communities through leadership development, education, advocacy, and strategic partnerships.

TLN delivers conferences, leadership programmes, youth initiatives, and policy-focused engagements across Ireland and internationally, including the UK and the United States.

TLN is governed by a Board of Directors operating under the Companies Act 2014.

Board meetings are held on a hybrid basis.

The Role

TLN is seeking a Treasurer to provide Board-level oversight of financial governance, controls, and sustainability.

This role supports the Board in ensuring financial integrity and long-term viability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial governance, controls, and reporting

• Review budgets, financial statements, and cashflow

• Support audit readiness and financial compliance

• Advise the Board on financial risks and implications

• Engage with the Finance & Audit Committee in an oversight capacity

Skills and Experience

• Professional background in finance, accounting, or senior financial management

• Understanding of financial governance and risk

• Prior Board or committee experience desirable

Time Commitment

• Four Board meetings per year (hybrid)

• Occasional committee engagement

Board Meetings & Practical Information

• Board meetings are held quarterly

• Meetings are hybrid (mix of in-person and virtual)

• Directors may be based in Ireland or internationally

• International participation is welcomed, with time-zone considerations
