Treasurer

The Dyslexia Association of Ireland (DAI) is recruiting for a new Treasurer to join our Board. The Treasurer will support financial oversight within the company, including compliance with best practices in relation to accounting and audit practices and ensuring that financial risk is managed. The Treasurer will also chair our Finance & Audit sub-committee working in line with DAI’s financial and governance policies, and reporting to the Board.

The Board of DAI meets 6-8 times each year, generally on a Thursday evening at 6pm in Dublin city centre. In addition, the Finance & Audit sub-committee meets 5-6 times each year, also on a weekday evening. 

This is a voluntary position, and candidates should be eligible to hold a Company Director and Charity Trustee position.
