Established in 1970, Publishing Ireland (Clé Cuideachta faoi Theorainn Ráthaíochta –a company limited by guarantee) is a membership organisation representing book publishers on the island of Ireland. Our members are at the heart of our mission and Publishing Ireland’s aim is to share expertise, resources and opportunities to foster excellence in Irish publishing. We are committed to providing information and training to our members and representing the interests of the Irish book publishing industry in Ireland and internationally. Publishing Ireland has a membership of over 45 publishers and is governed by a voluntary board of directors, which is representative of the membership of the organisation.  The Board is responsible for the governance of the organisation, our hardworking administration team manages our regular activities and programmes and a separate bookkeeper manages the day-to-day finances.
