Health Director

Health Director Candidates will have at least 3 to 5 years experience working in the Health Sector landscape across Ireland.

Evidence of an understanding of the pathways and challenges that people with disability face when accessing physical activity opportunities.

Understanding of the systems of approach and the touch points that people with disabilities interact with across the health system during their lifespan.

This position is voluntary, unpaid, very rewarding and will involve a commitment of
approximately 15 days p.a. (inclusive of Board and sub-committee meetings,
performance reviews and external representation).

Meetings with the Board will be both in person and online. 

Location in Ireland is required.

The terms of office is 3 years with a second and third term (subject to Board
approval).

All reasonable expenses incurred during the fulfillment of duty will be reimbursed
in line with Active Disability Ireland’s Finance and Administration Policy.
