Sport and Physical Activity Director

Sport and Physical Activity Director Candidates will have at least 3 to 5 years experience working in the sport and physical activity sector.

Evidence of having a professional understanding of the structures of sport and physical activity across Ireland across main stream and sport for people with disabilities.

An understanding of the national structures and policies relating to Irish sport and those across the disability sector

This position is voluntary, unpaid, very rewarding and will involve a commitment of
approximately 15 days p.a. (inclusive of Board and sub-committee meetings,
performance reviews and external representation).

Meetings with the Board will be both in person and online. 

Location in Ireland is required.

The terms of office is 3 years with a second and third term (subject to Board
approval).

All reasonable expenses incurred during the fulfillment of duty will be reimbursed
in line with Active Disability Ireland’s Finance and Administration Policy.
