Independent Chair of Treatment and Recovery (T&R) Subgroup
Location: Canal Communities Areas: Bluebell, Rialto, Inchicore – Meetings Mostly Online every 6 weeks on Wednesday Morning 10.00am to 11.30am
Person Specification:
- Demonstrable experience in leading and facilitating meetings, ideally within the field of substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation.
- Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to drug and alcohol treatment and recovery.
- Ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including service providers, practitioners, and service users.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a supportive and inclusive environment within the subgroup.
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality and maintaining the integrity of individual members of the T&R
- Understanding of the principles of evidence-based practice and a commitment to ensuring that decisions are informed by empirical evidence.
Job Specification:
- Chairing regular meetings of the Treatment and Recovery Subgroup, ensuring that discussions are focused, inclusive, and productive.
- Facilitating the subgroup's work to align with the T&R annual work plan, and the CCLDATF Strategy.
- Providing leadership and guidance to ensure that the subgroup's decisions and recommendations are based on evidence-based practice and the identified needs of the community.
- Ensuring timely reports on the subgroup's activities and progress, including the submission of written quarterly/monthly reports to the CCLDATF
Members of the T&R subgroup fully appreciate this is a voluntary position, and will endeavour to support the Chair through induction and ongoing Information sharing
