External Chair - Finance, Audit and Risk Sub-Committee

ICCL is currently seeking an External Chair for the Board's Finance, Audit and Risk (FAR) Sub-Committee. 

The External Chair is not an appointed member of the ICCL CLG Board of Directors. This is to enable the Sub-Committee Chair to bring independent expertise, impartial oversight to the ICCL Board of Directors through the Sub-Committees regular reports to the Board of Directors.

Ideally:

- The candidate must be a qualified Accountant, ideally with at least 5 years senior
management experience.

- Their role will be to evaluate and monitor the adequacy of the Financial Controls and
procedures and ensure that the organisation is compliant with best practice principles.

- They will provide an overview of the finances to advise the Board on the financial
implications of proposals, cashflow problems etc.

- Previous board level experience.

The Finance, Audit and Risk Sub-Committee meets at least 4 time a year, in our offices at 1st Floor, Castleriver House, 14/15 Parliament Street, Dublin, D02 FW60; however remote/online attendance can be accommodated.
