Donnycarney Youth Project Ltd (DYP), established in 1984, is a well-respected community-based organization located in Donnycarney, Dublin 5. Over the years, DYP has expanded its services to include:

• Youth Project: Providing a safe and supportive environment for young people to engage in educational, social, and recreational activities.
• Youth Diversion Project: Offering programs aimed at diverting young people from potential involvement in criminal activities.
• Family Support Service: Delivering assistance to families facing various challenges, promoting positive family dynamics.
• Drug and Alcohol Service: Providing support and counselling for individuals affected by substance use and Gambling.

DYP is committed to delivering non-judgmental and non-discriminatory services, responding to the evolving needs of the community. The organization prides itself on being well-managed and fully compliant with the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) standards, which provide guidelines for financial reporting in Ireland.

The Management Committee meets approximately once a month, with no additional duties required. However, individuals interested in taking on key roles within the organization will find opportunities to do so. DYP values the diverse experiences that new members bring and is eager to welcome individuals who are passionate about contributing to the community.
