Daisyhouse Housing Association is a thirty-year-old registered charity and Approved Housing Body. Our Mission is to provide secure affordable high quality supported accommodation to homeless individuals & to provide them with the skills & confidence to move to independent living. We do this through the provision of Supported Temporary Accommodation combined with uniquely tailored individual Personal Support Programmes to individuals who are homeless. We provide this service for 18-month periods so they can break the cycle of homelessness and be empowered to move forward to independent, safe, sustainable living. We also have a number of long- term properties (15) which some of our residents can move into once they complete their 18 month stay in our service. We also provide a fully comprehensive resettlement programme for those individuals and those who move into other forms of housing.
We are currently seeking a new Board member with experience in Property and Housing to join our Board. We are seeking an individual with an interest in homelessness who are committed to continous service improvement.
There are currently two sub committees- Governance and Audit and Risk.
Candidates must have sufficent time to fulfil the role which includes-
Board meeting every 6 weeks
Annual General Meeting
Membership of a Sub Committee
Appointment to the Board will be dependent on satisfactory Garda vetting.
